LAsT VIsITeD TO LANgKAwI

I've been to the Langkawi for the second time...but this time with my family...it's just like a gift from my family because i celebrated my birthday there.N the next day is my graduation day.. 
N my favourite interesting place is cable car, makam mahsuri, dataran helang...etc.I beat you all, the scenery really cool n beautiful...Cable car is 15 minutes from Langkawi International Airport. Get the feeling of awe and wonder on top of Gunung Mat Chincang. Beautiful sunset seen from middle station
Dataran Lang is Langkawi's most prominent landmark for visitors arriving by sea. Beside the Kuah jetty is the magnificent statue of the reddish brown eagle majestically poised for flight. According to local folklore, Langkawi derived its name from the eagle or "helang" while "kawi" denotes reddish brown - while Langkawi means reddish brown eagle.
Mahsuri is best remembered for her curse on Langkawi which was uttered before she died. Before she died, she curse that "For this act of injustice Langkawi shall not prosper for seven generations to come." According from the local folklore, Mahsuri died under tragic circumstances for a crime that she did not commit.
